update situation sea freight

The space situation in sea freight continues to be dramatic.

There are now severe capacity problems in all tradlines with regard to available ship space. Imports from Asia are particularly hard hit.

As a result of these bottlenecks, the rate level continues to rise worldwide.

Various regions throughout Europe and Switzerland were affected by the severe weather situation. In Zhejiang, China, a typhoon raged and in Shanghai the second-highest typhoon warning level and the third-highest storm warning level had to be declared. As a result, all flights were cancelled on the weekend of 24 and 25 July. Rail services between China and Europe have also been massively disrupted as large parts of the infrastructure have been flooded.

We will keep you up to date on further developments.
